Christianity became very popular overnight because it was a political move, and people liked it better because of the gift they would receive when they died, which was heaven. Once there was this man in Gaul who was a pagan and was going to war with Italy he praised the Christian God and won. That was the reason he liked Christianity and turned into a Christian. When people realized Christianity was growing, they decided it would be the best thing to make it the empire's religion.

A guy in Gaul was a pagan and was going to war with Italy he praised the Christian God and won, so he turned over to Christianity. all of a sudden people started seeing Christianity was growing and it would be the best thing to make it the empires religion. This way they would stop a riot from happenin and make all the Christians happy, if people did not like Christianity they could do nothing about t since it was the emperors decision.

They became the biggest religion in the empire, because the emperor Constantine became christian. He accepted christianity, because of that they stopped praising other gods. we also think that christianity became the biggest religion because God helped the christians to survive and after the persecution passed they could walk freely in the streets.

I do agree with Origin. I agree with him because when we die i think we or all who believe in God will go to heaven. Also because when we get there we are going to see God and we will all be together there. I think he was condemn because maybe church leaders during his time were closed minded and thought he was doing this in a mean way and kind off saying he did not believe on what the BIble said.

I think Origen was right when he said that everyone is going to unite when they go to heaven except the demons because they are evil. i do not know if animals will go to heaven as well. they probably will go to heaven because God made them living things.

This chapter focuses on comparing the christian faith with the hellenistic philosophy. It also talks about the theologians that opposed the use of hellenistic philosophy to explain christian faith. Jerome was a very important figure in christian faith because he translated the latin vulgate. Also this chapter talks about Tertullian who was known as the greatest opposer of hellenistic philosophy. In this chapter we learn about Origen one of the greatest theologians in all history. Origen and Clement were the ones that opened the first catechetical school.
